WEPOWER Eco Signs LED Distribution Agreement
WEPOWER Ecolutions assembles comprehensive lighting ecolutions portfolio with the signing of distribution agreement with a leading U.S. LED manufacturer, Independence LED Lighting.
Aliso Viejo, CA – July 2, 2012 – WEPOWER Ecolutions Inc. (the “Company”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Premier Holding Corp. (PRHL.OB-News), an energy service provider and integrator of clean energy solutions (“WEPOWER”), is pleased to partner with Independence LED Lighting, LLC, to distribute its Forged in America™ superior LED Tubes and LED Fixture products. The Company plans on complementing its existing portfolio of WEPOWER intelligent lighting ecolutions with its recent acquisition announcement of Active ES E-Series™, LightHawk™, LightOwl™ lighting controls, Orion Apollo® Light Pipe Skylights, Orion InteLite® Dynamic Device Motion Control Sensor Systems and now the integration and distribution of Independence LED Tubes.
“We are thrilled to be doing business with Independence LED Lighting and its great management team led by Charlie Szoradi,” said Kevin Donovan, CEO of WEPOWER Ecolutions Inc. ” We are experiencing unprecedented demand from our commercial clientele for high quality commercial grade LED lighting solutions and as the McKinsey & Company report, ‘Lighting the way: Perspectives on the global lighting market’ cites, the total LED market in 2010 was $10 billion and forecasts growth to $54 billion in 2016, representing a 5.4-times increase and a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 32 percent. Independence LED Tubes provide us with a clear advantage as an integrator of clean energy solutions in our clients’ commercial buildings with their superior quality, thousands of LED Tube combinations, 5-year warranty and American-made product.”
“I couldn’t be happier to work with Kevin and his team at WEPOWER,” said Charlie Szoradi, founder, chairman and CEO of Independence LED Lighting, LLC. “Our LED Tube products line up very nicely with what WEPOWER has put together for their commercial clients. We’re encouraged by the potential of WEPOWER to add to the ever increasing high-growth rate of our sales. Independence LED has experienced a 300 percent increase in sales from 2010 to 2011, which is well above the LED industry average. The increase began with our decision to move manufacturing from China to America ensuring American jobs and American quality and now continues to expand in 2012 as our partners like WEPOWER integrate with financial partners to provide American businesses the opportunity to reduce operating expenses with little or no upfront capital. We’re truly looking forward to this new business opportunity with WEPOWER.”
Size of the LED Tube Market:
According to the U.S. Department of Energy, there are over 2.3 billion fluorescent tubes in American ceilings. Approximately 600 million of the fluorescent tubes burn out and are discarded each year in America. The estimates on the adoption level of LED tubes may be conservative given the massive opportunity for savings with LED tubes over existing fluorescent tubes.
